Candidate FAQ

Who is this pathway designed for?

BSN-prepared nurses in India who meet academic and program eligibility requirements and want to pursue an accredited MSN with curriculum-based U.S. clinical training.

What degree will I pursue?

Qualified candidates who enroll through this pathway will pursue a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) through an accredited U.S. university.

How does the F-1 student visa process work?

If the program and student are eligible for F-1 status, the student must complete the required admission, school, and visa documentation. Visa approval is determined by U.S. authorities and is not guaranteed.

Can I work while I am studying?

Eligible students in F-1 status may participate in authorized, full-time Curricular Practical Training (CPT) as part of the MSN curriculum and receive a stipend. Any other employment requires separate authorization and is subject to immigration rules and individual eligibility.

Where can clinical training take place?

Clinical training may take place in approved healthcare settings such as hospitals, clinics, home health, long-term care, or other qualified healthcare environments, depending on program requirements and availability across select U.S. states including PA, NJ, NY, CT, and FL.

What costs should I understand before enrolling?

Before enrolling, review tuition, fees, payment schedules and terms, living expenses, proof-of-funds requirements, and any other candidate responsibilities that apply to your situation.

Are visa approval, clinical placement, CPT, sponsorship, licensure, or U.S. employment guaranteed?

No. These outcomes depend on individual eligibility, school authorization, immigration rules, licensure requirements, employer decisions, placement availability, and timing.

What support can I expect?

You can receive guidance through eligibility review, document preparation, application and enrollment steps, F-1 readiness, and clinical training coordination.

What should I have ready before I begin?

Be prepared to provide academic records, nursing credentials, identity documents, and other materials required for eligibility and admission review. Specific requirements will be confirmed during the application process.
